Injury prevention highlighted as an important aspect of development in LUMID talk

On April 4th the Lund University Department of Human Geography hosted a talk delivered by PeerCorps-CIPCS Director Mike Wilson within its International Master Program in Development Studies (LUMID). The talk highlighted injury prevention as an important but often neglected aspect of international development work, and presented some of the advances made in Tanzania by PeerCorps-CIPCS since 2009. The LUMID Master of Science in Development Studies is an interdisciplinary master’s program at Lund University in Sweden, focusing on problems of poverty and human development. The highly competitive program regularly receives around 1,000 applications for 40 study places.
